Legislative Action Center

ACCC continues to advocate for issues affecting cancer centers so our members can focus on what they do best: providing quality cancer care. The Association is talking with congressional offices about the urgency of drug shortages and how the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) can help alleviate this problem procedurally, as well as elimination of the prompt pay discount from the Medicare reimbursement calculation. Additionally, we will submit comments to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on the recently proposed rule for accountable care organizations. ACCC welcomes your thoughts and comments during this process.

The "Contact Washington" section of this website is designed to alert ACCC members about upcoming legislation that may affect your cancer center. Please help us raise awareness about these important issues by sending an e-mail directly to your Senators and Representatives from this section of our website.
